Our Mission & History

A church with a rich history and a clear purpose.

Since 1959, Bethany Church has been a place where people gather to worship Jesus, grow in faith, and care for others in everyday life.

Over the decades, God has used Bethany to shape families, raise up leaders, and build a lasting gospel witness in our community. While the years tell part of the story, our purpose remains the same: helping people become passionate followers of Jesus.

Why We Exist

The mission stays clear, even as the years go by.

Bethany’s mission and vision shape everything we do — from Sunday worship and biblical teaching to discipleship, community, and reaching people in everyday life.

Mission Statement

We exist to equip people to become passionate followers of Jesus.

Bethany Church exists to equip people to become passionate followers of Jesus who unselfishly, courageously, and intentionally reach people where they live, work, and play.

Vision Statement

Reach people where we live, work, and play.

This vision keeps Bethany outward-focused. Our desire is not only to gather on Sundays, but to live out the gospel in the places God has already planted us every day of the week.
