This undergraduate school is located in downtown Chicago. It was founded in 1886 by the famous evangelist D.L. Moody. Since that time the school has given birth to a large correspondence program that is now offered in part through the internet. A publishing house and a radio station were also developed through the school. Today the campus program is one of the most highly-sought educations in Christian ministry. Those who plan to enter full-time ministry are given priority for entrance as well as a tuition-free education. Our senior pastor, Dean Matteson, graduated from this institution, as have several others from our church.

AiG is a ministry founded by well-known author and speaker Ken Ham to support the church in proclaiming and defending the truthfulness of the Bible, starting with the very first verse. This organization promotes the view that God created the heavens and the earth in six 24-hour days and that the earth is thousands of years old, not billions. The defense for this view is made both biblically and scientifically through numerous articles and other resources available through this website.

Through their television program, “The Way of the Master,” as well as a multitude of clever and effective gospel tracts available on their website, they equip Christians to follow Christ’s example in their evangelism. Their philosophy is to convict people’s hearts of sin by using God’s law before sharing the good news of salvation through Christ.
